Known for his expressive playing with his current groups like Die Enttäuschung and Monk’s Casino, Rudi Mahall is approaching the jazz tradition with this international quartet. The group’s playing is raw, witty, unpredictable and they are not afraid to turn the music upside down and play through the free-jazz lens.

The quartet had its debut during 2024 when performing on several jazz festivals in Denmark and consists of Polish pianist Artur Tuznik and Danish rhythm section of drummer Kasper Tom and bassist Richard Andersson.

The group emphasizes the importance of swing and the versatile musicians will take the audience on a trip through expressive improvisations, reimagining the jazz tradition with unique musical communication.
