"Hey Nana, I'm Halym" is the duo project of saxophonist Nana Pi and drummer Halym Kim from Copenhagen. In this duo, this dialogue, Nana and Halym delve into the sonic possibilities of extended and traditional techniques, tonal and atonal melodies and rhythmic and a-rhythmic patterns. The music of the two is improvised and focuses on themes such as tension and relaxation, texture and sound, musical action and non-action.
