girls choir's music for four voices oscillates between hyper affective and anonymous machine-like. Through weaving the individual voice timbres together in detailed and dense structures, they create a sound world that feels both human and otherworldly. Guided by an underlying sonic story, the singers take us into a cosmos of plopping mouth sounds, mumbled chords and whistling air sounds. References to pop songs, giggles and melodies come and go as ghosts from the past. The compositions are a mix of surprise, surreal moments, and humor, in omnipresence of darkness and a strong bizarre.
